Hello, it me. The game I really want to try next is Faxanadu for NES. I recently tried Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, but couldn't get back into it. SNES Drunk says Faxanadu is comparable and also good.
Very enjoyable video! The Anbernic RG35XX-H is definitely going down as one of the best retro handhelds you can buy for 2024. Stock firmware works great right out of the box, but I prefer fancier menus so I'm running Knulli. Great system and an even better price!
@@spacecastleshow Knulli has been great for the most part. There are a couple issues I've encountered such as Saturn performance is nowhere near as good as stock, and Dreamcast seemed to work better on stock too. Another issue I have is it looks like some kind of memory leak or something because I'll go load a game up and then start seeing the Batocera menu loading in the background. But despite that, Knulli gives me access to more systems so I'll sacrifice the Saturn performance for that, and Knulli allows me to have preview videos and read manuals which sometimes comes in clutch to remember which buttons to press and not have to look it up online. Knulli also fixes cardinal snapping of the analogs which is present on stock. Transferring files on Knulli was a pain at first since it recommends formatting your card to ex4 which Windows can't read. But if you get an ftp program, you can transfer files a lot quicker than going the network route on your PC. Or you could run a Linux computer and not have to worry about that at all. 😂 Anyway, I highly recommend Knulli. It isn't that hard to figure out at all, and sometimes I just boot up my device just to look at the menu and read manuals. If you decide to go that route let me know and I'll try to help if you got any issues.
This was not on my radar at all. I've been doing emulation for like 25 years now, but this device sounds kind of awesome. The "retro" games on my list to play are Link Between Worlds on the 3DS, and Mario and Luigi Dream Team on the 3DS...which of course is horrible to emulate.
I want to buy a handheld emulator for around $100 and under. I want to play mainly gb, gba, nes, snes, and some n64 and psp games would you recommend this handheld?
@@bruhmoment2547 I would! I’m still enjoying it quite a bit. The only hiccups I’ve seen come with PSP games, but I’m thinking of re-flashing the SD card with the newest Anberic stock OS, and seeing how that goes. All the other consoles you mentioned emulate really well on the H!
What's a retro game you've always wanted to try but haven't had a chance?

Hey, thanks for watching! Let me know what you think of Knulli! I'm still frequently tinkering with my RG35XX-H.

I just bought one, I hope it can play psp games smoothly
Nice! PSP was the only platform I saw a little stutter with, but hopefully it's seamless for you! Let me know how it goes!

Oooh… yeah, the DS is a tough one. I know this thing can run the games, but the inherent problem is not having that second functional screen. ☹️

Hopefully not handheld hell because my son just bought one on my recommendation lol. I bought the rg35XX plus.
Let me know what you think when they arrive!
